We Saved Trevor's Javelin Training for You!
The main reason I started the site was to preserve Trevor’s coaching. We had filmed a great deal of this training because Trevor actually threw and competed with Jan Zelezny in New Zealand. Over 8 years, Trevor and his training partner Gavin Lovegrove threw and competed with Zelezny and many other top throwers and learned the deep technique of javelin throwing.Â
Thrower Analysis Section
Enjoy our pictorials page with photo sequences of Trevor, Krista, Andy and Gavin with mini notes discussing each stage of their throwing motions. It’s a fun little section with notes from Trevor & Gavin! Though photo sequences take a long time to make, they can be really helpful in depicting sequences of throwers and bringing attention to key parts of the throw.
